Description
Yuh, just another mini animation... that was started sometime last year. ._.Last night all I did was tidy it up and finish it off. Tired of the file sitting there, taunting me.
Always wanted to animate this character. His markings are a bit annoying, but hey.
The lines in the sky are (were) rings around that planet, if anyone wonders...
Chara and animation are mine. Photoshop CS3, 21 frames.
Please do not use this in any way. It was for personal practice - not for others' use.

That's incredible! Β Wow! Β The lighting is so mystical looking, and the level of detail is just unbelievable, not to mention that moving sky that gives a sense of(OH GOD I can't think of the word! Β I'm sorry!) it's like when you look outside of a moving car and you see the road moving fast but the trees in the distance moving slow, that's what it is. Β TuT

Sorry, can't release the base. It's not even a base - the horse was drawn with his markings already, and a bit of shading was added on top. There is no easy way to recolour it, you'd have to do all new shading. ^^'
But I might do a "Your Horse Here" soon, with a much larger version and a new background. So maybe you could catch that, if you want to see a certain horse in this pose...

I have gimp and annimation confuses me. do you have to re-colour every frame? surley the markings on each might be a bit of then? it confuzzles me but you seem to get it right ALL THE TIME. it kills me.

gimp and photoshop are different in the way that photoshop allows you to use key frames rather than layers to animate, so every key frame can have multiple layers.
in gimp however it's with layers. what i do is draw every frame, using multiple layers then merge them down.

yessir. but no matter what you animate in it, it's a long process. animating is a very time consuming thing and takes a lot of practice and dedication.

I just stumbled upon this and i absolutely love it! i love the animation and just i love it. you are an amazing artist and i really admire ppl who do animation bc ive tried animating horses before and it is not easy!!! anyways js and you've got another watcher
