The story takes place from Grey's Anatomy S2Ep6 to S2Ep27. Each part/chapter is a new episode. In this AU/Crossover, there are no monsters that the Winchester brothers would be hunting, instead, Sam is married to Jessica and Jessica is working in Seattle and their parents John and Mary Winchester live there as well. Sam, Dean, and Cas all go to visit but a sudden train wreck causes their 'trip' to be put on hold and the boys are rushed to Seattle Grace Hospital where the reader meets Dean when he becomes her patient.

Patients flooded through the ER doors like there was no tomorrow. Monitors beeped like crazy and people were talking or crying, trying to either get doctors or nurses to help their loved ones or because they've just lost someone in their life. The sirens of ambulances outside kept on coming and it seemed like this whole traumatic event was never going to end.
"Meredith, you got the 911 as well? What happened?" You asked, silencing your pager as you entered the ER and quickly went to your friend; Meredith Grey who was leaning against the wall and watching as the chaotic events aftermath unfolded like it was nothing.
She looked over to you with a small smile, her arms crossed over her chest. "Me, Christina, George, and Izzie were at Joes bar cause we were off duty. But then we get paged and on the news it says there is a major train wreck with more than 300 victims" She explained.
You paused for a few moments, then huffed out. "You're drunk, aren't you?" You questioned.
"What. Why would you ask that?" Meredith replied confused.
"Because the sober Meredith would be all over, trying to get as many patients as you could and you'd be competing with your best friend" You retorted and looked around. "You know any open patients that aren't taken by Christina?" Your (e/c) eyes dwindled across the room as you looked around.
"Bed 4. Patient has a fractured left leg, swelling in the right leg caused by a piece of metal that was jammed into it, possible fracture in the right shoulder, and is currently unconscious. Nurses have passed by and checked on him every so often but nobody's claimed his case yet" She mumbled, pointing to where she was talking.
You gave your friend a small thankful nod before quickly walking through the crowd of oncoming beds or your fellow colleagues. Opening the curtain, you breathed out softly and took your stethoscope from your pocket and pressed the small metallic part to his chest; checking his pulse. Suddenly, you jumped when a soft but sturdy grip was on your arm and you looked down, seeing his hand around your wrist. Putting the stethoscope down, your gaze settled on him. His slow and raspy breathing came to a normal tone and he slowly opened his eyes slightly; his pained forest green eyes immediately meeting your (e/c) ones.
You thought this would be like any normal case; help treat the patient and send him home to his family with either little or no scars. But little did you know that you'd soon be in, way over your head and more than you'd like to be.
