I like your style. The way you draw eyes and faces in general looks so soothing. Β
Moreover I love how smooth the lines are and how well you added shades and lights into his hair. I can see that you were really careful not to overdo it with strong contrasts. The light color's suit this character well. His facial expression is nice. I like that he seems to look towards the horizon. To me it feels like he is looking forward to the future. Once again you made highlights whilst drawing grey strands of his hair that don't follow the lines which shows me that you were trying to get a realistic touch into this. Personally I was very fond of his outfit in the first season so I'm happy that you drew him with his green shirt and the yellow pullover.

Ryou is my most favourite character, he's not really recognised as much as well, its mainly his Yami. I feel like Ryou has suffered so much which sort of inspired me to draw this, to see hope in his eyes and to see him truely happy. His hair was such a pain, but so much fun to draw as well! I really wanted to capture his emotions well and proportions of the face right.Β
Yes I love his clothes in season 1, a lot of people don't like it but I think it makes his look adorable!Β Β
