I really love these old cars! A lot of people get so confused if you ask them to start the car..let alone how to drive it!

I haven't done so yet, but one day I just want to swing the crank and start up a car like this.

I prefer steam traction engines for my road hauling, but I guess a Ford internal-combustion engine sufficed.

I have always liked steam traction engines, but I have always liked old fashioned internal-combustion engines. It's amazing to look at how much car and truck engines have changed since the days of the 1920's.

You also had the days of steam powered cars. They were very fast, but the trend ended because of too many crashes, or the boiler in the car would explode out of nowhere. I am sure that there are some car museums that have some steam powered cars on display.

Those cars probably had no sight-glass for it's driver to tell the water level. If you run low on a steam engine of any form, your best bet is to run.

Sentinel Waggon Works created steam trucks for haulage companies, some of them being able to reach 30-40, while shaft-driven examples could do 60 down a steep hill!
