Just to help you, the oriental ink-and-watercolor are called "Sumie".

Thanks for the help. Besides Sumi-e, in Japan ink-wash paintings are also called suibokuga, in China (the country of the origin) - shui-mo hua, in Korea - sumukhwa. Sumi- (shui-; sumu) 墨 stands for "ink". May be you'll found it interesting.

Thanks, buddy! Yes, it has the predator and prey  motif, exactly, with all "who will survive?" trill in it... The oriental paintings are so good in putting all those philosophic undertones in a seemingly simple theme...

oh wow.  I had a feeling that may be the case, but since it wasn't mentioned I wasn't entirely sure.  so I am glad I was right lol    and because you did a kick ass job of it too

Thank you!

The red sign is a chinese seal, which is is often presents on oriental paintings, prints, documents, and such. I don't know how the red seal print is called (probably "zhusha"), but the stone chop itself is called "Yinzhang" or "Tuzhang". I had one carved for me during my visit to China last year.

The "seal" you see here is digitally made - as well as the whole picture . It's a character for "flower", my artistic signature

Go for it! I rarely use mine (since most of my art is digital), but it's also great for all kinds of paperwork: invitations, thank you notes, etc.
