She doesn't look that undead to me. Looks more like half dragon, what with the wings and all at least.
The spider is a cool idea though. We definitely need more actual races in the MLP canon. But then again, I guess as long as the number of races is unknown, that gives artists and junk a chance to create whatever they want too for their own fanon.
