Today on May 10, 2015 is the birthday of my good friend, Clara (Lyris1075 ), and I made this for her! This is one of her favorite characters, Ryou Marufuji/Zane Truesdale, from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX! It was my first time doing art of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX because I usually do DM. I'm proud of how he turned out! The hardest part was doing the duel disk. I rarely do duel disks, so I used several references to try to get the details accurate. This is also the first time I used fractals for a background. I think fractals fit Marufuji well because he has a Cyber Style deck with metallic dragons. Marufuji is also considered an elite duelist in the Obelisk Blue dorm, so the color blue symbolizes him well. Clara, have a wonderful birthday, hon! :D Thanks for being a great friend~ :3
