Apart from that there's a project that I have pending to show, only that I've not taken the photos yet and as always I'll have to navigate through the endless pile of notifications .

But let's put aside the sad things  and let's go to the monthly feature about the highlights papercrafts in the month of March!

BizmasterStudios In reply to BRSpidey [2017-04-07 19:35:40 +0000 UTC]

I have been good! Just the usual stuff really, work, art, cleaning, try to sleep, repeat! haha
Cleaning and sleeping is a much harder game when you have a 1 year old in the house
Hows things on your end?

Haha, then enjoy it while you can , times to change diapers and barely sleep pass very fast these are moments that you'll want to remember forever

On this side we try not to die for health debts , but we're getting better little by little... oh and there are also some new projects .

What a wonderful selection!
This has to be a good month. Look at all these lovely pieces you've found! Some of them are incredible!

But more importantly... how are you doing?
Are you feeling better now? Is everything OK with you? Please take good care of yourself!

BRSpidey In reply to SinistrosePhosphate [2017-04-06 22:17:35 +0000 UTC]

Indeed!

Many of them exceed what I would be able to do at this time

Well Doctor... I'm recovering now , my brother and I, had problems with the gallbladder (coincidence?... I don't know ) but I think now we're on the right track, nothing to worry about now, but it was delicate before . Thank you for your concern

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to BRSpidey [2017-04-07 03:05:13 +0000 UTC]

Gallbladder problems tend to run in families. It has something to do with how your body and your livers metabolize the fat content in your food. So it's not really a coincidence. We have seen that before.

I am really glad to know that you are doing better now. And I am glad to hear that things have turned out in your favour. That's a relief!
I hope you and your brother are both doing well. And please... stay well!

You are absolutely right. I can't hope to build anything similar to these masterpieces now!

Well, it was very hard for all of us, because my brother started with a strong gastritis and reflux, and in one of those consultations the doctor suggested that this could be cancer and that they had to do analysis as soon as possible ... tell me if that wouldn't trigger a huge stress!

Fortunately the great mouth of that doctor wasn't right ¬¬, but in his analysis appeared stones in the gall, and call it coincidence, I began to have the same symptoms . We try with natural methods and now we are much better.

I just wish the doctors didn't see us as a wallet of money from which they can "extract" coins ¬¬, as I told you here the health business is very murky and profitable .

Well anyway, it's already being a thing of the past

I am really glad to hear that your illnesses are a thing of the past.
But you are right, in a lot of places in the world, having an illness is a very expensive and very stressful experience. It's not quite as bad in Canada because all health expenses (most of them, anyway) are covered by the government. But I have family who live in the US and in Taiwan. And for them, being sick is a very expensive thing!

I am sorry that you and your brother had to go through this experience. I hope these gall stones don't ever come back!

BRSpidey In reply to SinistrosePhosphate [2017-04-19 16:29:47 +0000 UTC]

Yup, from now on, it's just getting better

Yes you have no idea how difficult it is to find trustworthy doctors here. A cousin of mine did gallbladder surgery and what he had was actually a liver infection . But when they made new analizis they told him that his gall was inflamed ... how was it possible if he no longer had a gallbladder?

Yep, I hope stones don't come back , but if not now we know how to eliminate them

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to BRSpidey [2017-04-19 22:01:50 +0000 UTC]

That's good to know!
As long as things are getting better, that's the most important part.

... what you are telling me is really strange! And scary, too.
How can your gall be inflamed when there is no more gallbladder? That's basically lying! I am almost angry that this is allowed to happen in Mexico! (Even more so when I am taking exams to finish my training as a doctor...)

Yeah... I hope the stones don't come back, either. And the next time you are not feeling well, remember to treat it early!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

BRSpidey In reply to SinistrosePhosphate [2017-04-26 19:34:31 +0000 UTC]

I still have some inflammation, but it is much smaller than before .

Oh yes, it turns out that the "specialists" in the analyzes, misinterpreted the results ... but so is this business here , first cut and then see if that was the problem .

But don't get angry, this is where we live and it seems that are two worlds totally different .

So don't let yourself be influenced and give the best of you in the exams

SinistrosePhosphate In reply to BRSpidey [2017-04-26 22:48:11 +0000 UTC]

Oh, that's good to know.
As long as it's smaller than before, it's a good thing. Gallbladder problems have caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people. You don't want it to become worse!

I guess this goes to show you that even "specialists" will make mistakes.
I know there are a lot of people who would choose to cut first - but it's really a bad thing to do for everybody. There is more risk to cut first and ask questions later, and it doesn't matter how good your surgical skills may be. There are always surprises.

Thank you for your encouragement! I have the first set of tests done. The next one will be in the first weekend of May!
