Description This is another small project I had been working, they are Wyntrellia 's OC's Xylo and Mr. Pig.
Xylo is based on the design Nathaly by Alclione, Mr. pig is based on a design from here: greboo.com/papercraft/ . Xylo is printed on 125 gr opaline to 4 pages per sheet, hair is 160gr bristol, Mr. pig is printed on paper 90gr to (16x2) pages per sheet . Both are hand painted and varnished . The final height is 12.5 cm without base.
Her hair is from scratch, strip by strip  .

Papercraft Base Nathaly by Alclione -> You can download it here
Pig pet -> greboo.com/papercraft/

Ok now I will comment on more than the hair I really like the pig on the shoulder, she looks like she is ready to cast a spell. I still don't see how you do this. You are my hero!

Ahaha, It is because she is more hair than anything .

Well, I'm just trying to recreate Wyntrellia 's OC's, from 2d paper sculpture to 3D papercraft, she deserves all the credit in its design  . But it was great fun to do and very educational

You don't give yourself enough credit. You are awesome at what you do. I hope to see some more papercutting from you as well.

Yes, lately I have not been in the mood to work on my projects
Must be the cold or the season ... or because the insects are less active in cold weather.

Yes her hair is hypnotically beautiful , but not even close to the original character .
Thanks!

Wow! That's a really beautiful model and beautifully put together. You work continues to astound me and everyone no doubt. The paper crafting is ok for me but I have no idea how you finish these up. You repaint, gloss, varnish, use cement, plastering, wall paper!..... Anyway, you make them look the best of your ability, which is amazing.

BRSpidey In reply to swiftflik [2015-09-20 02:23:18 +0000 UTC]

Thank you so much! I think my ability is due to many experimental models I've done .
And with such an inspiring character is impossible not to give the best to improve it.
In fact I don't make so much procedures (at least not in assembled models only ).
It's something like: Assembling -> sealing paper -> painting -> (sometimes sealing paint) -> applying varnish.
The process can be extended when the model is filled and is sanded and polished .

Wyntrellia [2015-09-17 04:07:07 +0000 UTC]

Thank you again Spidey
You did a great job on Xylo's hair. Just wow... It's perfect.
You inspire me to make 3D paper crafts too. I just wish I have time to experiment with paper again.

BRSpidey In reply to Wyntrellia [2015-09-17 14:47:09 +0000 UTC]

You're more than welcome dear Jonna!
Xylo!? She already has a name! It's a beautiful name (I'll have to edit the deviations )
But it is not necessary that you make 3D papercraft, your sculptures are a thousand times better , but if you need help with something related to papercraft (or unrelated ) can you ask with confidence
Happy Birthday again!

Wyntrellia In reply to BRSpidey [2015-09-18 03:30:40 +0000 UTC]

Yep ahaha I gave her a name and I'm planning to give her new clothes
Mr. Pig is still Mr. Pig though, I can't think of a cute name for him. xD
I want to make dioramas with 3D characters in it so people could view
it in all angles, but it seems that it would make me slower ahaha I still can't decide huhu

BRSpidey In reply to Wyntrellia [2015-09-20 01:42:21 +0000 UTC]

A complete redesign? While you don't change her beautiful hair everything will be fine . I like Mr. Pig. Although Mr. Ham-mond, Ham-ill or pigmy sound interesting (even Kevin-Bacon).

In fact, 3D papercraft it is quite slow even with considerable experience . But the results are amazing .
Well, good luck with the decision

Wyntrellia In reply to BRSpidey [2015-09-21 04:36:24 +0000 UTC]

Nope, I'll just give her new clothes
Haha those are cute names for Mr. Pig xD

Yeah, but I think I'll stick with relief sculptures for now.

BRSpidey In reply to Wyntrellia [2015-09-23 03:37:09 +0000 UTC]

I hope to see her soon!
Yes, but only Mr. Pig will know that name will like him.

To be honest, I'm glad you decided to keep doing relief sculptures , or else I wouldn't have a chance against your amazing work .
