I love your stuff! Your backgrounds are awesome! The perspective is usually a little off (and that may an intentional artistic liberty), I hope you don't mind me mentioning that (just an observation), but they're so colorful and the composition is great! That's one thing I envy about your work. Your backgrounds are just... BOOM! they're there, and they're brilliant! I tend to sweat the details too much (like the perspective) and it makes me timid and then many times I just leave the backgrounds out and it gets boring.

Thanks I really appreciate it. I actually get bored doing backgrounds. But I have this overly compulsive unfinished feeling to get it done. I do have to admit that backgrounds do make the scenes. I try not to get to crazy about it, making sure the lines are straight, using a ruler, etc. I would really go insane and start hating it. Instead I try to just get the basic shape down and concentrate on color. Then I just like to ink and re-ink keeping the farthest light and getting darker as it gets near it gives me a feeling of depth. But your right they are a little off. I cant seem to get that far distant blurred image yet with markers
