Description
For Art Jam: The Swimsuit Edition by BluebottleFlyer . The fur colours I used for Kate and Kurt here are based on my recent experimental look for them, but they have their more traditional anthro-style anatomy; I thought they'd look better if wearing swimwear with this look instead. I also made a version of this pic with their original colours.Related content

Heya Bru, you asked for critique on this picture, right? Well allow me to give you an in-depth review on this image here then! Alright.. lets see...
Vision) Bright, colorful, and straight to the point. Not only it conveys a typical summer beach scene but despite their personalities and body types, both of the characters are either shy or unafraid to show off their inner beauty. Your attention to their body types is a nice touch as well as the fact you got their new fur colors nicely too!
Originality) Aside I could probably tell this is somewhat inspired by those summer fasion magazines, I think you did a nice job on this image. So I'm giving you a good mark on this.
Technique) I wonder which program did you use to color this? I think you've gotten very good as far as the lighting and shading here, especially the area near Kurt's hips and Kate's as well. Very well done here!
Overall Impact) Im giving this picture a good 4 out of 5 stars here! I must say you've improved significantly in this image and I also like how you took the extra effort to color them with their older fur colors too!

Well, I used GIMP for coloring and inking this pic. I guess I'm used to it, but I feel like maybe I should try getting the hang of other software like FireAlpaca. Anyway, thanks for the critique. :3

They're both lookin' real good here. Although the older colors better show them as siblings, I do agree that their current color scheme looks better with their stylin' swimsuits. Excellent work.

Well, the newer color schemes are based on real-life red kangaroos whose colors differ based on gender, though I admit I maybe exaggerated the difference here.

These two are all set for summer, no doubt. I might be wrong, but I get the feeling Kate's slightly more comfortable posing this way than Kurt is.
