What she said! It reminds me of the Mars sketches too.

I know that antialiasing in Bryce is miserably slow...but the image does need it. Wonderful composition though!

Thanks... It looks like a simple one but took quiet a while.

no definitely not simple, i don't think i have got the skill to get bryce to look that far ahead. played with field of view a few times, then forget i played with it, and usually mess it up

Do you have any 3d prog other than bryce? The reason for asking is because I'll be putting up an article on how to make Bryce both easier and more versatile. It involves adding more 'rimitives' as objects (They have to be made in another programme, imported, then added to your objects library.) I will try to put up the files but not sure how to do it... I can put up the shapes needed which in themselves are simple in a jpg dev but not the obj files.
will drop you a line when I get them up

thanks heaps for the tips Bruce1i - never even thought of making architectural details like that in Bryce. Tried a few demos of programs - lathemaster is pretty cool, and the only other ones i have gotten the gist of is sketchup and curvy3d - probably going to buy curvy3d once they come out with number 2. other programs i havent figured out, i dont have the brain for them, or maybe the patience not sure. Zbrush - i liked importing the figures into it but trying to put them into Bryce made them look warped or something.

Problem is I have the files but don't know how to put them up on Dev for those who can't make the objects... they are simple... if you know how!!! yuk
I'll let you know when I get them up...
