Description
My first post, a character from my upcoming comic "Scorch2"! Her name is cotton and she's a robot programmed to have feelings. If you have any critiques, please let me know!Edit: Any advice on backgrounds or colors would be really appreciated! I worked very carefully to make sure this picture would have good values but i'm still unsure on backgrounds. If you have any reccommendations for background tutorials please let me know!

Hello again! I think pushing darks would help bring out the highlights more. Like I said, I really love the color values you do have, I love the soft look. It's hard to remember to think about it when you work, I still have trouble remembering lol.
I normally use Pinterest and look at different scenes to build a mood I'm looking for. I also mesh a lot of backgrounds together, and I think it's just finding the bits you like for the scene you're going for. For interior scenes I actually create the scenes in Sims and take pictures for reference lol but I do recommend making boards for the different scenes you want to explore. It's helpful to see them and it helps to have a reference board for all of it
