Brutalace do you have any youtube videos or tutorials on how you convert a body to NSFW? i'm trying to learn how to do it for SFV characters. For starters i wanted to do it for Cammy Battle, Chun Li Police or Special Forces and for Aprile. But it will be my first time so i'm unsure how best to approach it as a newbie. I have access to Daz3d and morph kits but i'm afraid i wont be able to get it close to canon proportions. Also the difference in quality in textures will be noticeable so i would have to make the Daz texture lower in quality or change them out completely. Another option i was thinking about was to create the missing parts of the body completely from scratch. But I've only done a few minor pieces of clothes for practice in Blender and UV mapping would be a nightmare for me since i havent done it before from scratch.

Hi,
Unfortunately I don't have any video tutorials of making bodies yet as most of my time goes in modding itself I don't find time to create tutorials not that I am trying to use it as an excuse, I should make some. Anyway the workflow is pretty simple, you should be good with either 3DS Max or Blender and you should have good command over proportional editing and sculpting then you use one of the existing models (with tight clothing) to judge the proportions and then you start working over them, you can certainly use DAZ3D textures but like you said you have to drop their quality as they focus on very realistic/sharp looks while SFV use a cartoony style, that can be done in Photoshop. Alternatively you can make parts from scratch if you have the skills I mentioned for 3DS Max or Blender. UV mapping can be only learned with practice, it's something that varies from object to object so you just have to practice but if you're just interested in bodies then you can learn body UV mapping within short span of time, I can give you some pointers about it once you finish your model.
If you create body parts from scratch then you have to bake textures with Blender itself, that's another thing to learn but you can do all of that within Blender with some fine tuning using Photoshop. I can help you out with some advises but you have to decide your workflow first.

I'm thinking about making the missing body parts from scratch and using pre-existing nude bodies as a reference to make sure i get the contour right. Maybe even grafting parts of a nude body onto my base body. With the UV mapping i'm just afraid of blending it and having a noticeable seam where the original body meets the created/grafted body. But i'll just practice with it like you said. I hear a lot of Blender animators saying that they arent able to share their models because its usually made up of hacked parts from different sources. It looks like i may end up being the same way too.
