Description Impossible Bottle
Acrylic on panel 30x24".

I am fascinated by these objects, originally 'ships in bottles' and taken a stage further by the likes of Harry Eng. Impossible objects are put through the necks of ordinary glass bottles. Here is a factory celophane sealed deck of Bicycle playing cards in a bottle, made by Phil Evans of www.impossiblebottle.co.uk

bryan, this composition is simple yet stunning. it was a great choice, it works so well as a painting, and you rendered it beautifully. do you reckon you'll do more like this? i think it'd make a great series

Thanks Daniel! Glad you like it, I have thought of making a series of these as there are lots of different ones and I think they'd look good on a wall together. I had wondered about the simplicity of the composition but in the end decided to just let the bottle speak for itself without adding unnecessary clutter. Cheers
