That's sweet! I live in Peterborough Ontario Ca. A tattoo artist wanted to hire me but I need to get a tattoo gun for myself and practice with it. I don't know how different it is so I don't want to just jump right into it (especially considering that the potential screw-up would be permanent).

It's good that you are nerves about it. Skin is a vary different medium and a mistake means some one is scared for life. If you wont to tattoo you need to fined some one to apprentices under. An artiest that you trust and you feel is competent to teach you. An apprenticeship is a long proses often a year or so. But it can be vary rewording. Not all shops are equal and you need to do your research to make certain that the one you apprentices at is.

Yeah, I've heard horror stories about some tattoo shops. Not changing their needles, not isolating the paint they're using (double dipping between customers), not using gloves, things that would seem like common sense, yet could give people aids or hep B.
