Description
Spektr ("Spectrum") is an enigma. He is the most mysterious member of the new Doblestnyy Vityaz, talking very little and with no file about him available. He is mostly a solo agent, doing his own missions, seldom with company, though sometimes he will be assigned to escort another member of the team on one of their missions.

What little that is known about Spektr is that apparently he is a scientist, though in what field is unknown. He also has been an agent of the government for some time, well before the return the Dezhurtsva Soyuz, as members of the Spetsialni Otryv are familiar with him and his activities.

Because of his anonymous and mysterious nature he is regarded with a fair amount of suspicion by the rest of the team. Zimasyn appears to be fearful around him, a stark contrast to his normally tough persona. The rumor is that Spektr "recruited" Zimasyn into the Doblestnyy Vityaz. Given that Zimasyn is one of the team's most powerful members, this speaks volumes about Spektr and his ability. More well known is that Spektr and Zimasyn were able to hunt down and subdue both Kamengorsk and Strashnyysver, another impressive feat given that in the past Strashnyysver had been able to hold back the combined might of the Krasyne Opeka and Kamengorsk.

One aspect that only further adds to Spektr's fearsome reputation is that he is the largest person on the Doblestnyy Vityaz, dwarfed only by Strashnyysver and Kamengorsk in his mutant form. He literally towers over the likes of Velikisyn and Zimasyn, both of whom are very large men over six feet in height.

Spektr has the ability to manipulate energy. He cannot generate his own energies, nor can he transform one type into another, but otherwise he has the ability to completely control and alter the energy around him at will. Exactly whether this power is natural or in some way connected to the devices Spektr wears is not clear. However, using his power, he is capable of a wide variety of tricks, from manipulating and redirecting energy beams, to walking through or opening holes in forcefields, to neutralizing explosions, nullifying radiation, disrupting the biochemistry of an opponent's body, manipulating the temperature of the environment, to stopping the inertia of any moving matter around him. Thus, he can effectively stop even the likes of Strashnyysver dead in his tracks, or completely freeze all movement around him, while taking that kinetic energy and using it to his own ends. As a result, Spektr may effectively be one of the most powerful members of the Doblestnyy Vityaz.
