And hey look, another new character! Just as Blazar is meant to be a kind of "viewpoint" character to help introduce and explore the space/cosmic aspects of the Extraordinary Mythos, so too is The Eidolon meant to be a viewpoint character to explore and introduce the mechanics behind magic, the spiritual realm/astral plane, ghosts and all their variations, life after "death," and more.

Like with Blazar I'm not gonna bother with a full on bio, because otherwise he'd never get posted. xD But the basic hook of The Eidolon is that he is an associate of Aeon the Archmage from before Aeon was even the Archmage. In his day he was THE preeminent master of spirit channeling and seances, until he was suddenly and unexpectedly killed. However, thanks to his skills he found that he could keep his spirit from "passing on" and even discovered that he could physically manifest for one hour and use spiritual energies for a variety of incredible and powerful effects. However, the more power that he uses when physically manifest, the less time he can spend in that physical form before returning to a ghostly state, and if he tries to overextend himself he could end up either passing on or being torn apart by the powerful forces in the spiritual plane, so he walks a very tight rope any time he gets involved in a conflict. As The Eidolon, his main focus is finding out who killed him, why, and try and prevent his killer from doing so again. This investigative journey has led him to encounter many friends and enemies, and he frequently assists heroes both mundane and magical. But the more he finds out about the circumstances behind his death, the more he wishes he hadn't found out. And he's developed some new relationships as a ghost, and they don't know he is one. He's torn between retaining that happiness of his second life, and being honest and telling these new friends and loved ones the truth about what he really is...
