so on the way home yesterday i stopped by Jamaica mall, and i saw this one guy sitting outside of a store...he looked pretty much like the way i feel most of the time...
sitting alone, the world was passing him by...
all by himself, hoodie on, with a sense of disconnect to his surrounds...
heh, ~The-Eyegod always hated my hood...
but yeah, i can relate to the mood i got from him

in case anyone is interested in the post work done, um what did i do
opened the pic in photoshop, did all the necessary adjustments in camera raw
tweaked levers
then a black and white layer
then a gradient map black and white layer to add contrast
then another gradient map layer set to color mode and a gradient that goes from copper to blue, and fill on this layer was set to 50%
then copyright and frame was added, thats the basic process

It's not so much the guy who is the subject, but the guy in the background looks like he's a ghetto version of the Scarecrow! I love the way you made this look. Your touch up's gave it a sepia tone and it pop's. I really like this one.

heh yeah, at first he looked rather odd, but yeah i agree he makes the shot. i actually have several shots of the guy sitting but i thought this one was the best of them all. and was playing around with toning in photoshop using a copper to sepia effect, i have some new gradients i was playing with

fantastic work! love the noise in the photo, its really artistic in my point of view, and the photo itself is so powerful you can almost feel the emotion, the loneliness... the contrast is well balanced and the colors are just great they fit this image very nicely!
