On the topic of FF7, a remake would be nice but it'd have to be pretty much a graphical remake while leaving the core game and story intact. Mostly anyways. The 5 minute long summoning animations can get shortened >.> I don't think I'd mind voice actors but it would have to be really good voice actors. Especially for Barret. But VAs are an all or nothing thing. Either have great VAs all around, or don't bother.
Of course, I'm not a big Square RPG fan anymore. The last one I liked was X and X-2 (mostly for the gameplay, it was actually quite fun aside from the Charlie's Angels crap). Haven't really cared for anything they've done since then.

Considering the sprite it's based on it this is awesome.
That whole part with Corneo is just so wrong but damn the game was all the better for it, they don't do weird stuff like that in FF anymore . . . it's so generic these days . . .

I think, sadly, Square are too far gone for that. They really kick it as a publisher but their in-house devs?! The original team is long gone and I doubt whoever's left could be trusted to do it justice. They'd probably use the XIII combat engine and make them talk 👍: 0 ⏩: 0
