Description First up for the day, we have Thirds and Fourths: a shaded experiment.

Is this worthy of attention, or just a bit out there? The lines and shading caught my eye - do they catch yours?

This picture was taken at Boston's MFA. I did not think to write down the name of the work shown here, though it's truly incidental. It reminds me of an old art assignment on shading; the professor told us to draw a corner for five hours. I, being myself, did it in one sitting.
Residents of the dorm came by and asked what I was doing. Once informed, they declared they would return to evaluate my progress. hours later they did so, and murmured their approval. And do so enjoy charcoal.

But yes, the picture: I did not intend for it to look how it does - but I like it.
