Since we all know that Eclipse is coming in 2 days, I've decided to post this deviation to give the Classic DA a good heartwarming send off. It is a very sad day for us. Not only do we have to say goodbye to Classic Deviantart, but we have to say goodbye to our beloved mascot Fella. I will make a memorial picture for him tomorrow before Eclipse takes place.

But hey, on the bright side, the sound of silence has made a positive impact, & the staff are going to listen to our feedbacks to improve the update to Eclipse, espically danlev / .

The Staff has Responded about EclipseSo recently, a member of the DA Staff has responded to my ticket about the problems concerning the old DeviantArt site being removed.
Here’s what he said

“This is the future of DeviantArt. It isn’t feasible for us to keep the old version of DeviantArt running once the new version is fully released. Managing two versions of the site doubles the amount of work it takes to keep the site running, and makes it even more difficult for us to introduce new features that deviants have been requesting. Because of such complications, we can’t provide two versions of the site simultaneously forever.
Having said that, we want to make the experience as best it can be. We encourage you to continue to share your feedback about the things you like and the things you don't. We absolutely care about the feedback provided by the community. Community commentary (gathered between comments, notes, and the official Feedback form) has shaped how the new version of DeviantArt l

But.... It's sad that the customization will be removed, & so will the widgets..... But unless if can accept 's eclipse concept design, then maybe the customization features can come back.

And of course, will be coming soon, & the staff is willing to help us! And there is also a eclipse redesign plug in you guys should try out! I tried it out, & honestly? I think it's really good! Eclipse Redesign (16th May - No more blurry pics) by

I also heard rumors that once Eclipse offically launches by the end of 2020, the NSFW Art will be removed. I HOPE that's not true, because they did make it clear that rumor was false....

Also, the 30 tags is good on Eclipse! As for the new category....... it's not good as it's confusing, & I would prefer submission categories to come back.
