I made a last minute decision to change Angus from a BR era N class with smoke deflectors to a original SECR N class without deflectors

History: Being built in 1921 at Ashford Works for the SE&CR he quickly proved himself a reliable engine, this led to him being the go to engine for his managers. But in 1949 his frames were found to be warn beyond repair and BR decided to scrap the Maunsell machine, luckily the GVR were looking for a new freight engine at the time to handle ballast and coal trains and where willing to pay for a complete overhaul with new frames and all. Unfortunately like the C2X that preceded him the work load kept increasing and by 1966 the work was to much and a 9F was brought in to take over ballast trains. Angus now handles mixed goods and express freight trains.

Personality: He is a hard worker with a foul mouth. After being withdrawn by BR he picked up heavy cursing and a love for beer, while not on the level of drinking the GVRs No.1 has he still gets a little drunk from time to time, but refuses to drink during work. He also has a love for rock and roll his favorite band being The Rolling Stones, owning a copy of most their albums.
