Von Loki gibt es sehr wenige Beschreibungen, wozu auch xD er kann aussehen wie er will.

Ja, den Bart hab ich tatsächlich übersehen. Ich könnte zwar sagen, den hält er mit seinen Fingern umschlossen, wäre aber nicht richtig. Loki kann eben aussehen, wie er will ; )

I knew it.
Well, it wasn't Freyja, it was actually Idunna, the goddess of the apples of eternal youth that, well, keep the gods young. She was kidnapped by a jöttun (it's always one of them. lol) and, to rescue her, Loki asks the "falcon-cape" of Freyja.

I believe the eagle one was when Freyja was kidnapped by some jottun folks (like usual). Loki just transformed himself as a eagle and caught her back.
Or something like that.

Since I´m german I also browsed the german wiki entry. Among the shapes already mentioned there is also the eagle. But I don´t know the specific tale.

I can never get my photoshop stuff to look this neat and clean, do you have any suggestions?

I kept it simple in these. One layer for the colour. One layer for the shadows (multiply). Shadows have hard edges. I drew them with the simple round brush. One layer for the backgrounds. Used the ploygon lasso for them. Then I worked with some gradients on the the background and on the ink layer. Finally I used an old parchment texture on the hole image (overlay).
maybe I could put up a tutorial of it. hope that helped. : )

Loki finde ich persönlich sehr schwer passend darzustellen. Ich habe immer das Gefühl er müsste bissl was Riesenhaftes haben und sich irgendwie von den normalen Asen unterscheiden. Aber da er ja kräftig in Magie investiert hat, kann er ja praktisch aussehen wie er will.
