estoy orgullosa de esta pintura (oleo) porque yo me la avente solita algunos años despues de salir de clases de pintura, mi pareja favorita mai valentine (mai kujaku) y jonouchi katsuya (odio el wheeler ¬¬U), ademas de que es una escena muy dramatica en donde joey sacrifica su alma por la de mai (bitch! no se lo merecia), aunque la temporada es una porqueria me gusta porque hay mucho mai x joey, les gustaaa?----------
i'm proud of this oleo 'cause i painted without any help, years later...my favorite couple: mai valentine (kujaku) and jonouchi katsuya (i hate "wheeler") is the dramatic scene when joey sacrifices his soul for mai's (bitch she doesn´t deserved it!), although the season is a shit, i like it 'cause it has a lot of mai x joey...do you like it??

Si Mai es tu personaje femenino favorito, no hay problema
nadie tiene que odiar a Mai por eso, porque el odio envenena la mente
cuando Mai decía "¿qué me sucede?" faltaría la voz de su conciencia "no puedes matar a Joey" eso dice su lado bueno, eso dijo una vez Saga de Geminis a su lado malvado cuando está a punto de matar a Athena (Saori)
Lo que decia de Naho de volver al lado oscuro me refiero a esto (me gustó el dibujo)
Si Joey no quiere pelear, Mi OC tomará su lugar, pero lo hace para salvar a su hermana y no culpará a Joey por eso, si él pierde, ella se sentirá culpable y dirá a él porque lo hizo y él dice a ella que ha salvado muchas veces en su vida y ahora le toca su turno y dirá su frase "yo daría mi vida por ti"

el personaje de Mai en esa temporada, muchos la odiaron por eso
pero aun asi la quiero porque es una chica super cool, fuerte y

Oh...really? Okay yes...that makes sense, but then...why do you call her a bitch and say that she didn't deserve it to be saved. I mean, yeah, Joey has lost his soul and I find that stupid too, because I also like him... but still. Life is sometimes really confusing.

well altough i understand Mai's feelings of being lonely,
her friends and especially Joey wanted to help her and make feel
that she has friends, but nooo, she never rested until she sent
Joey's soul...yeah at the very end she finally recognized to be wrong
but, Mai is cooler than ever i mean this season fucked her up
horribly (she has a great development in the battle city arc and
in this season she went back like 954894849 times)

Oh because of season 4. Well Season 4 is a very interesting story arc. One the one hand I hate this season, because they changed her character. I mean, yeah, I like her character from the end of Season 1, 2 and 3 much more than her character from season 4 . But I always find it very exciting when good characters become bad and bad characters become good. But this time I didn't like it that much because like you said it fucked her character a little bit up. But what I love about the 4th season are the duels and the dramatic moments. The duel against Dartz was my absolute favourite duel from the whole original Yu-Gi-Oh. But back to Mai. It's right that her behavior in season 4 was wrong but it's not complitely her fault. It's also the fault of Marik, because he is the one traumatized her. And in my eyes she joined Doma because she searched for connection and for somebody who understands her...and then Dartz turned her evil. And of course it's also the fault of the story writters. Nevertheless I enjoy watching the 4th season. Also Mai isn't a bad character and in my eyes the best female character from Duel Monsters and I really like her. Also I'm a fan of Polarshipping. Sorry for the much text

yup! we think alike! i like and hate season 4...i love the fact
that they have to duel using the orichalcos, also the background
story of Raphael and company, the Yugi gang moving from here
to there in California and the whole drama about...but! as you and
i think the writers fucked Mai very hard, especially bc in season 3 she smiled
at Joey and say goodbye and everything was cute with flowers...but!
she still was traumatized of what Marik did to her, it's totally understandable
but here's the writers mistake...if she felt lonely like what the hell Joey
had to do with that! or what the hell has to duel Joey and claim his soul?
i know it was the drama of the show but at the very end nothing happened
she finally "learnt her lesson" and she dueled Raphael and pum! she just disappeared
she didn't avenge Joey (i know that the duel of Raphael with Yami had to be
bc we needed to watch his past and avenge Yugi...) and it wasn't a damn single
scene when both talk about what happened, not even a thought, anything XD
it would be awesome to have watched a new and stronger Mai after she awakes
but no...she was just riding her moto, the same with Joey, he was sick worried
for her and nothing...just nothing...writers just focused on duels, the story and nothing
more, they could make an amazing story very well based of Mai but they decided
to make her a bad girl...that we wont know if she ever recover from her trauma...
that if those duels with Joey and Valon worth it....

So far so good. I agree with you on these points. However, I don't think it's fair to dislike Mai just because of the 4th season. And that has a good reason, because in itself the 4 season does not exist. I mean, yes, it does exist, but for example in the manga there is no Doma saga at all. Mai only appeared in the first 3 "seasons". It's actually good that she appered in another season. The problem is just ... if Mai could really have determined how she would have acted she would never have acted like that. And You can't hate her for that, because figures can only act as their creators like it. And we have seen in the first three seasons that she is actually really nice and likes Joey and Co.. That's why Season 4 does not really work for me, because if Mai was real and could really act the way she wants, ...then everything would be different after the third season. That's why you can't blame her for that. The whole reason why Season 4 exists is just unrealistic. I mean if Mai would have appeared again in Season 5 and then acted like herself, everything would be okay... but so... I find Season 4 just unnecessary and unrealistic... especially from her behavior. Had I written the script, the whole thing would be very different. So, as I said before, don't mind her behavior in season 4...she normally is not like that. And the creators can still bring Mai back in a new series or movie and then let Joey and her story end up the way they deserve. Hope dies last.

i mean, i hate what writers did to her u.u, but as you
said the 4th season is not canon so we can relax and
enjoy wonderful Mai's battles that she had in the manga and
the seasons that are canon
talking about the 4th season is like a different Mai for me, bc
in the 1st place she's very independent she would never joined
Dartz and company, knowing her, she would said something like
"they're a bunch of liars" but the writers use the trauma and loneliness
emotions to make a motive which she can join the bad guys
if the writers know already that Mai won't appear again at least they
should write a decent end up story of her, but well hope we can
watch another movie ^^

Okay ... well then I probably got you wrong. I thought because you have called her a bitch you wouldn't like her. But I guess that was wrong and you like her. I unfortunately did not read the manga but in the first 3 seasons I found her really cool. In general, I liked Season 4 least from the development of the characters. But the story itself and the duels were very cool. And yes, Season 4 Mai is really different and I wish they finished her story different. I'm very curious when the next movie will come out and maybe they will bring back older characters like Mai. That would be awesome.

Hm difficult question... but yes, I think Battle City was the best and it should be season 2 and 3. But season 5 was also pretty good. And if it's allowed to ask...which are your favourite characters. Mine are Ryou and Yami Bakura, Joey, Yugi, Mai, Ishizu and, yeah, Odion and Rafael ( These guys are so often forgotten, though they're actually really cool)

Yep one part of the 5th season is the grand prix championship and the other part is the Egyptian stuff with the final duel. To be honest, I don't really know why I like Bakura. I just think his voice and his design are cool. In addition, he is, in my opinion, one of the best and craziest antagonists...And Ryou is super cute and nice and has the potential to become a great duelist himself.

Yeah season 2 and 5 are awesome. I wish the original series were a little longer. I mean the following series are also good, but for me Duel Monsters is still one of the best series. You also like Polarshipping? The only things that have always bothered me about Yu-Gi-Oh are that they often started shippings but made only a few of them really official and that some characters have a nearly unbreakable plot armour (for example Marik).

Yep Duel Monsters is the best. That's also the reason why I like the movies so much and why I'm really looking forward to the next one. Wonder when the next will come out. Maybe in 2021 for the 25th anniversary. Only Duel Monsters 2 with the characters from Duel Monsters 1, which plays parallel to GX would be even better. Polarshipping and Trustshipping are, I think, my favourite pairings from Yu-Gi-Oh.

Trustshipping is the relationship between Seto and Ishizu. And well, she is the only Yu-Gi-Oh girl I can imagine with him and vise versa. Because both characters are normally not easy to handel.

The duels there were really random ^^ But it's understandable, since the rules were introduced with the "real" card game and then in season 2 they were present.
