Average size: 2" (5cm)
Average lifespan: 2-3 years
Diet: leaves, clovers, small plant life
Nomenclature
Kinosoru: kinoko (mushroom) + osoru (timid)
Basically they are super shy tiny chubby mushroom babies! They sleep in the soil at night, digging their bodies in to absorb additional nutrients. Some people have taken to keeping them as pets, in small damp terrariums. They're very social creatures so it's not advised to just keep one- it's best to have at least 3 or 4 in one tank.
Kinosoru have many kinds of mushroom and fungi growing as a part of them, sometimes they even get mixed and matched depending on where they live and move to. Mushrooms aren't unique to the Kinosoru, loads of them have the same kind of mushroom, especially those in the same colony/family/geographic location. Despite that, they all seem to look qu
