Wow!! I finally got to finish this drawing after so long of leaving it to just.. sit there.. on my desktop. Poor Remi must have been feeling so neglected! Nevertheless, here she is! Remilia Scarlet!~I'm really hoping you guys like this one, I haven't really posted much Touhou so far in these past few months. It's really a shame! I had a lot of fun drawing this one though, and while I'm well aware that Remilia's original outfit is very different from the one in this picture, I thought I'd draw her in something different! My own interpretation, if you will! Β

I love how you did the red glowing! Did you add it on to the picture or did you add an effect in another program?

The actual glowing was added in the picture during coloring! I had to use more than one layer to do it, though! Also, I did use another program to make it pop out a bit more, but that's optional really! Β

Wow, ok. If I were to do anything like that it would be a huge hassle, I can only have two layers at once, and I would need to change a lot of the settings. I'm learning some new programs for when I'm designing for my MMD's, maybe that'll be able to handle that. Get me off drawing on my little phone... Good work though, the coloring is still amazing!Β

It's a hassle at first when you aren't used to it, but once you get accustomed to the program you're using, it becomes almost kind of like.. second hand nature! There are still a lot of things I'm learning too; if there's ever anything I can help with, just let me know! I'm actually vaguely familiar with MMD too, though it's been a very long time since I've used the program! Β

Oh! Have you ever played those old video games where you're an airplane or spaceship and you have to dodge incoming bullets up until you fight the boss? Touhou is just like that; but on steroids!

You know, I believe that story is linked to how Zun found the inspiration to create his own character. I don't know the details, I'm afraid! What I'm specifically referring to is actually a popular theme song for the character "Flandre Scarlet"!

As mentioned before, this character does look absolutely brilliant here! You did a outstanding job, this has been done wonderfully! I searched up the gameplay for it on youtube, and I haven't seen anything like it. However, I have to say I don't think I would like that type of game... The music is nothing I am into, and the game itself doesn't really appeal to me. I am more into metal songs like Bloodline from SlayerΒ and games Bioshock, but most people hate that kind of stuff. I don't think you would like them to be honest. Β Β

Thank you soooo much! Oh, That's quite alright! We're all individuals who are into different things, varying from different art styles to music, tastes in video games, books, even cooking.. that's why there's so much variety in life, it makes things fun! Hmm~ I'm into a couple of different music genres actually, some of them also being metal! The only music styles I don't like is Rap-- and depending on the meaning of the song, even that can be an exception. I'm not too picky! Right now, I have an entire playlist of just FNAF music...

I'm listening to Linkin Park right now. I don't listen to many genres to be honest, I don't really like the blues or the peaceful stuff. I have been enjoying certain piano pieces, but I don't listen to them that much. Rap is a genre I really dislike, but the song I linked you about bullying is the one exception for that. I am into pretty much anything that is metal, as long as it isn't techno or dubstep type mixed stuff.I'm not sure if you have listened to Linkin Park, but if you haven't, I have a feeling it might be something you could like. Of course, you may end up hating it, but you never know until you try. What metal songs or bands do you listen to?

Hehe, Linkin Park just so happens to be the one band that actually opened me up to music as a whole! When I was still pretty young, I hated music just like any other popular topic because everyone liked it so much. The more everyone liked something, the more I tried to stray away from it. I spent my Childhood turning a blind eye to things like music, celebs, popular TV shows, favored games; the list goes on. Despite this, I ended up stumbling upon "In the End" by mistake and somehow fell head over heels in love with it. Linkin Park, as a result, was my very first "Favorite band" as well as the only music I'd ever listen to. I still love it!
I actually do appreciate the more peaceful songs depending on my mood, but depending on my mood, I can be up for just about anything! I can agree with you on rap; It's never been something I much enjoyed. They just.. you know.. talk to a beat. Some other bands that I like are: Evanescence, Fall out boy, Flyleaf, Set it off, Lorde, and more recently, Peirce the veil. (Still kind of new to them, though!)
