My contest entry for All-Naruto-OC's It's an Age Thing Contest ~
I found this a good excuse to make a mini-comic-like-thing to make an important scene between Kimi and Kasumi when they were little children. Especially since it plays a rather important part of their pasts. =u=
A long time ago, the two girls made a promise to eachother. Unfourtunetly, Kasumi had "died" not much later on, leaving Kimiko alone and grieving.
Years pass by and Kimiko becomes a Missing-nin later on. It isn't until Kimiko turns 19 that she runs into her supposedly "dead" friend, Kasumi. Leaving Kimiko to only say, "It looks like you kept your promise... it looks like I broke mine..."

You'd have to give my friend, ~Love-Inspired credit for Kasumi's history as it was her idea.
Unfourtunetly, there is only a somewhat chapter/oneshot that I made up on a whim that I suppose you could read (Here: [link] I admit it isn't the best of what I wish I could have done though... OTL). But I have no real intentions of continuing it.
Of course, there are/will be a few photos including both Kimiko and Kasumi that you can check out, I suppose. You can probably find them all by typing "Kasumi Kimiko" in Deviant's search bar?
