This is going to need quite a lot of explaining...Ahem. *clears throat*
.... Doku Ketsueki can kill. 8U
Yup. I kind of kept it a HUGE secret from everyone. U MAD?
If you've read my Doku Ketsueki sheet(link below), you know it involves the user to become injected with poisons. These poisons over the years, slowly kill the user.
This only applies to Doku Ketsueki users and not Chiyu Ketsueki users. Chiyu Ketsueki users are fine, they just experience slight symptoms as if one were to have a "drug overdose".
The Yakamashi clan has been able to develop some medicines over the last few years that are able to prolong Doku Ketsueki users and makes the side effects more subtle and easier to bear.
Since Kimiko had left her clan and became a missing-nin, she has no access to such medicines or even knows how to get help as many people find missing-nins unacceptable.
Some of the effects she witnesses from Doku Ketsueki is blindness in her right eye(She's slowly going blind there, which is why she wears that eyepatch when she's older), coughing fits sometimes involving a bit of blood, dizzyness, vomiting, pains, etc. She doesn't like it when people see her in those states when it happens and will avoid questioning at all costs.
So yup, she's a dyin'. 8U

OMG! My OC Sintessa Mai has a horrible disease called Ketsueki Doku with which she was born with like all members of the Sintessa clan. This is a bit too freaky and I had no idea that you had something similar! If you ever read my story, I'm saying that I didn't steal the idea from you. Honestly, I should've seen this coming since it literally translates to Blood Poison and there are probably a lot of people out there that used the simple translation idea.
Anyway, I was just a bit shocked when I read your artist comments cause I saw that she had Doku Ketsueki, but then I realized that it was different from my disease. But that is some weird coincidence, huh?

Hahaha! But yeah, luckily there seem to be some strong key differences from our character's... abilities. Your Mai had been given Ketsueki Doku without a choice, as my character, Kimiko had chosen to take on her clan's Kinjutsu(Forbidden Jutsu) willingly, but wasn't aware of such consequences.
This is really wierd how coincindental this all is. xDD
