I have a small story for these two (no the whimsicott isn't ebony and the story is REALLY SAPPY). Inspired by [link]

One day a Whimsicott was walking near the beach when she saw an badly injured Cradily who was too weak to even move. Over the next couple of months, she would visit him often tending to his wounds and helping him get food. The two also started to gain feelings for one another even though where the Whimsicott came from love between a sea pokemon and a land pokemon was taboo. One day the Cradily confessed his feelings for the Whimsicott and "proposed" to her with a small flower. Although risky she accepted his proposal.

Around this time, the Whimsicott's father became suspicious of her unusual behavior and decided to follow her. When he saw her kiss the Cradily, he flew into a rage and began to drag her by the fluff back into the forest. The Cradily desperatrly tried to go after them, but the father responded by hitting one of his old wounds directly with an energy ball. The frail Pokemon collapsed in the sand bleeding, while his love was dragged away.

At the first chance she got, the Whimsicott ran from the forest back to the shore, only to find the Cradily close to death. She embraced him in her arms as he took is last breath saying the words "I love you..."
