Just to point out an error in the Visual Style. When you go to Start Menu and click on "Connect To," the back button on the window that opens up displays wrong and doesn't work. I took a screenshot of it here (I boxed the problem area in red): [link]

You're right--works fine. I just had to repatch my files with the new Vista Glazz because SP 2 changes some of the files that you need patched to use custom themes.

Also, I've fiddled around with RKLauncher and Rocket Dock. And neither of them do what I want. I downloaded the icon pack I wanted, but the dock application only accepts .png files. Also, the StackDocklet does not work as intended either. I have no idea how you get the "fan" to go downwards. When I select the "fan" mode in the StackDocklet options, it doesn't fan downwards when my dock is on the top of the screen.
Which version of StackDocklet do you use? And how did you get .png versions of those icons?

hi, is this theme compatible with vista 64bit SP1? the other soulglass is not, it give me the "browseui.dll missing" error at windows startup.

your themes look great but are impossible to install, it seems like even when you are asked you never give an easy to follow response.
For example i already used a UI patcher, but now i have no idea what to do with your patcher and Sys32 files because those are files i cant modify...
I put the them in my themes folder but i cant use it.

I agree--I do not find installing his visual styles very clear, especially since it's been a while since I've changed mine. However, it's understandable that he does not provide instructions since English does not seem to be his first language..
Here are some instructions that I hope will help you and others who are confused:
1. Run the Vista SP1 Final UX Patch.exe in the "System 32 Files" folder.
2. Now, copy and paste the "SoulGlass v2" folder (the one with "en-US" and "Shell" folders inside it) into C:\Windows\Resources\Theme.
3. Double-click the "SoulGlass v2.msstyles" file within the folder you just copied and pasted.
4. Select the theme in the window that pops up and click OK.
5. Now, to take ownership of the system 32 files on your computer, download and add the file in this thread to your registry: [link]
6. Go to C:\Windows\System32 and find authui.dll, browseui.dll, imageres.dll, and shell32.dll. Right-click the file, choose "Take Ownership."
7. Now right-click the file, choose Properties. Select the Security tab, select your computer username in the list, press the "Edit" button, and check the box labeled "Full Control." Press OK twice.
8. Now change the file name to something like [link] so that you have a copy of the original. Then copy and paste the dll files provided the SoulGlass v2 download.
9. Now go to C:\Windows\ and find explorer.exe do the same "Take ownership" and "Properties" stuff to this file and rename it as well. Then copy and paste the explorer.exe provided in the SoulGlass v2 download.
10. Restart your computer and instant beautification! (:
