Description My friend of the flowers first caught my eye with this [link] magnificent photo ... I have very poorly tried to portray it's beauty by painting it in oils. thank you Thom!for allowing me to use it .

What did you mean by "poorly tried"? You did it brilliantly, your way I also used to think a good copy when it's ...exactly the same. But the artist's touch makes it more interesting and of more character.
