I love all the details and symbols. The graves in the left low corner. At their right, a she-wolf walking away from a dying man, the Blackwater in the right corner. Dry and sharp mountains in the background, as dry as the man's heart, as sharp and dangerous as his life. Sprouting from the Blackwater, the flames that maimed him. And yet, on the other side, growing from hope and the safety of of the Sept where a gravedigger dwells, a young tree, full of life, and a little bird singing to the tormented soul, facing his demons for him, quelling the rage inside him.....
I cannot tell you how amazed I am at the finery of your art. You manage to render everything so beautifully. The duality of Sandor, his past, haunted life, and yet... the hope there is....

I love your version of The Hound: wish the TV series had gone this route. Β I just don't like his design in the latter: he looks too much like a nice dad neighbor next door that kissed a burning grill with half his face rather than a fallen knight who has had one bad day too many. Β
Your Sandor kinda looks like Two Face's uglier-yet-somehow-more-appealing ancestor: the scars are there, but they don't overwhelm the character. Β He remains handsome enough to appeal to us: dunno why, but I see Sandor Clegane as a man so hurt and battered by life (especially by his own family) that he can't even hide behind cynicism in an effort to retrieve the lighter side of things. Β Overall, kudos: probably should've skipped ahead and spared the babble. Β
