I used to think my spirit animal was a lion.. Just becuse I liked them... But now I think it's a crocodile becuse almost all my dreams are about crocodiles and reptiles... 
I still wish it was a lion... :/

XD I've been attached to butterflies my entire life... took lots of tests, and my spirit animal was almost always a butterfly (unless they didn't have butterfly then it was either a rabbit or crow)
also every time I'm really happy I see a butterfly, or if it's night time a moth, I think that means something

I am pretty sure my spirit animal is a grouse. I wish it was something cooler, but that's the animal that always shows up in my meditation.

I agree fully.
I use to be a nut for dogs and upon even having one and two...kinda realized that me and dogs are opposites and we can never "click" a bond.

I've had a HANDFUL of animals, from reptiles to amphians to a cat and birds...By far bird and horses I feel a strong connection too just by being around and riding horses and having some things happen to me with them.
I belive a greater sign for this stamp is when you've made eye contact with an animal instanyly and you feel a "rush" or spark! Like they have looked into you(not all the time of course)- which I know animals are closer to the spirit world then we are.

I've had that with a horse I ride (my fav mount) and I'll NEVER forget it. I could literately feel that he knew of depression and my weakness and just my spirt.
A lot of people are not spiritual belivers esp in psychic prospective. Yeah you have a LOT of butt wholes and fakes, no doubt.

I have though one renowned psychic I have been contacting for weeks...and ..truth be told and I'm a VERY sincere persona and at least proud of it that she had brought out events that were to happened and damnit all they DID happen. The funny thing is when one of them happened as she stated that I'm prone to being Very sensitive, I could literatlly feel this strange atmosphere when it was happen and it was like pure instinct and hell to this day, I'm still overwhelmed by it. To be able to sense something like that in the making!

So yes, I'm a big believer of the spiritual world and I'm not religious or anything. I've had only a few miracles happen to me and its nice to know that humanity is a real word then just a word and values that tag it  have higher purpose in the next life.

I'm forever thankful for animals, for I belive everyone, even if they ahet anmals has a spirit anime or a soul mate. (not that I think that it's an entirely separate thing. I beilve animals can be your soul mate, not lover stereotyping as people would immediately think....-.- I could live myself with out a lover for I love too many things, and as for my psychic stating on that note, that my love she told me, is universal)

But yes you are true in statement, animals in a way chose you, you Don't chose them.
We as humans are too indulgent on our own selfish interest, we are shallow and conceited and of course, we pick things based on image. That's why in our society we will not all grow and come to envolve to become better.
There is so much gong on even of course in people that people know its there but reject it and look for the shell outside of the body. We are nothing more then ling to ourselves just like we do everyone else.

I'm not a big hopeful of humanity, I don't believe in it though I do have believe that their being people whom think higher then what's advertised all day on media and magazines.

Sorry to go on so long like this but again I can't help but what to share on my opinions on this and what experience I have gone through.


And don't be too upset over the people on here. You have a lot of trolls, children on here whom are still trying to develop their cognitive apptidue and well, your sarcastic jerks and non believers.

Thast humanity for you. They come in all kinds so it becomes ugly and political. Your just going to have to accept that you will always run into to folks like this.
I call it "individualitie's curse."

I did two different spirit animal tests and I got wolf on both of them, I was expecting hyena but okay.

Love this. My animal totems are both the tiger (he came to me when I was young, a nice magnificent Siberian tiger, and wasn't that picky on names so just told young me to name him and his name was "Tiger" eheheh -p-;; ) and the dragon (great green dragon Valdaurg was very particular about his name and had me repeat it many times until I heard and said it right and spelled it right too *sighs and amused chuckle*) and they're my guardians and have been with me for a long while since childhood. I also have the spirit of a tiger, dragon, some winged flying creature, and strangely part wolf inside too if my periods of a ph-shift (phantom shift) are to be believed. Still not sure why the wolf side because while I like them, I'm not obsessed with them at all like I am with dragons, tigers, and flying with my own wings. If I had to order my favorite animals they'd be like this: Dragon, Tiger, snow leopard, cat, raven, owl, and finally wolf. But oh well.

I saw someone else make something like this and say that having more than one major totem animal either comes from a very complicated and stressful life or just from people wanting to assign animals to themselves without really thinking it through. Unfortunately I don't have the link and I think the stamp was also discontinued. *sighs* Which is why I went looking for something like it so I'll use your stamp too if you don't mind?

I did remember saying to them that I had a tiger and dragon totems (both powerful animals) and what they said made me really think about my life and realize that it was pretty damn stressful and complicated as hell, which made sense why I had two instead of one. For further information, what made me think that was this: going through a transition from woman to man, dealing with mental instability and one occasion of possible psychotic episode (It was weird O.e), schizotypal personality disorder tentatively assigned to me, healthy multiplicity with aspects to help with my life and fronting, a debilitating and slow-progressive chronic illness called SEID (previously called CFS/ME) that basically strips my energy away and forces me to be housebound and not able to do jobs or even college or move out though I want to , as well as born hard of hearing but became deaf and using bilateral cochlear implants, and that's not even getting into what a wild journey the spiritual path took me on (NEVER want anyone else to have to survive spirit attacks, battles on the astral plane, learning what death is like on the astral and coming back many times,  as well as much more).

I hope you don't think I'm bragging or exaggerating or anything, since I know how people tend to react to those they disbelieve and have seen that happen many times to others to make me wary about coming out about things that actually happened to me and that I went through, out of fear of attack from people who wouldn't want to take a moment and think it over instead of just acting from what they assume about me as being like the other liars. *sighs* If that makes sense in any way? :/

My spirit animal is a goat or a sheep, or my zodiac animal is, at least. I don't think a sheep is mine because I once got repeatedly butted by a sheep and when I try to follow them they run away.

I didn't base my fursona off of what's supposed to be my spirit animal, that's why she's a wolf. The internet would slaughter me for having a goat/sheep OC anyways.

i knew i was a wolf by heart the day i was born i've always loved wolves, i even took care of a half wolf sheperd breed and he listened to everything i said the first day i met him but he didnt exactly listen to anyone else tho. tho he always stayed by my side

So, I have a question about how to find my spirit animal. Is it really just meditating or are there other things I need to do in order to see mine? A part of me is thinking that I'm over thinking this, but but then the other part knows that this can be a pretty big deal and how there has to be some complex way of finding my spirit animal. Also some tips for meditation would be very appreciated. The closest I've been to meditation was sleeping and I can barely remember any of my dreams.

I'm not positive but I think my spirit animal is the fox, and most likely your red fox. And I'm not saying this because I want to be a fox, don't get me wrong, I love foxes but I think if I had just chosen it would have been a cat, probably tiger. A while back I started making a fursona and I didn't want something not special so I did alot of thinking about myself and looking into who I was and it kept pointing at foxes. I can't give up the cat part of myself but when I was little I was fascinated by foxes, I had an imaginary fox friend even lol. Every year I see foxes and durring my time of thinking there was this one red fox who popped out in an odd place twice. Even my personality type fits with it. I'm not dominant like a wolf, and I like my alone time but I can't be alone for to long without feeling the need for someone around. I'm quiet, and idk any more I just feel a soft spot for them. Eh maybe I'm just crazy lol

I spent years looking for mine, trying to search to deeply and overthinking everything.
Briefly, I had a very lazy black dog-thing. He was very large and black with a light marking across his chest, he reminded me very much of a bear. I reffered to him as 'Sunny'. He was always sleeping, always looking content, he never opened his eyes. I only met with him for a brief period, but he taught me a lot about dealing with anxiety and taking like one day at a time and just remembering to not worry and stress so much over every little thing, I try to remember these lessons almost daily.
Haha that sounds like a totally dumb and made up story, but meeting Sunny had a profound effect on me.
Although, I think I tiger is my true spirit animal. I've had an unconscious affinity for them since I was very little and I see them often when I'm dreaming, daydreaming, or trying to calm myself down in the middle off an anxiety attack. I know it's a male tiger, but I don't know his name...

Humorlessly I didn't find mine, it found me. I was thinking it would be a wolf... or a fox... or a hawk of some sorts. I even at one point thought it might be a snow leopard just because I like those animals. I have panic attacks so my 'journeying' has been.... put on halt. I have tried many methods but each time the sound of the 'heart beat' rhythm causes me a panic attack. It just so happened my friend found out my spiritual animal is a unicorn. I have never really been one who was attracted to them though I do have an infinity with horses, even as a young girl I wasn't the pretty princess Barbie with unicorn fans. However... I came to an understanding with why it is my spiritual animal and it makes more sense than anything else I have come across. I am a healer. Maybe not by touch or by medicines but by words and words alone. I have 'touched' countless people who I have becomes friends with and helped them through tough times along with complete strangers because I 'enjoy' helping people. I look to aid others even when I myself am not in the best of health and others always come before me. I seek out to help those who are truly in need without a thought of myself as my priority's are always in the best interest of others.

I also found it humoress and rather amazing. The day is denounced having any faith in any spiritual afterlife or any existence beyond that which we could touch was the day we both discovered my guide, a majestic being that represents 'Faith'.

I have always been a lover of all animals (save for insects... I respect them... I don't love them.)so in truth it makes sense why my guide is what it is. My power animal did not reveal itself before my 23rd birthday most likely because I was confused and not ready to just 'believe' or I wasn't even ready to except it for what it is.

Your spirit animal will never be truly what you 'want' it to be because greed/wants are not what make it what it is. Your guide, I believe, is what reflects the real you. The part of you 'you' try to hide, the emotions the feelings the memory's... all of it. You may want your guide to be a bear because you really like strong bears, their pelts are beautiful and they are so massive in size with all the strength they hold in their paws. However your real guide may be the deer, why? Simple. You may want that strength of the bear because inside your really timid, wise but timid. You are cautious instead of just running into the fray you patiently wait on the sidelines till you think its safe.

Don't 'claim' your a wolf or your guide is one just because you like them. Not all 'wolfs' are wolfs mind you. Wolfs in sheep's clothing can be reversed, another animal in wolfs skin appearing to you as a wolf because that's what you want. It might not even appear to you at all if you keep slapping something else in its face.

I am beyond grateful as well as honored that my spirit animal is something I never even would have dreamed it to be. I am patient and when he/she decides to reveal more to me then I welcome the chance to learn more when they deem me ready to. Am I disappointed its not a wolf? No. If anything I am thrilled that its something that represents: Purity, Faith, belief, and healing.  Things I never considered myself to be until recently when I really started looking at myself. Underneath the mask my personality is gentle hearted yet slight rough around the edges from 'scars', my faith in the spirits may be denounced out loud but inside I still believe in many things even when I can not touch them. My 'purity' is the fact I never dabble in the 'bad' things because I honestly feel regret for even the thoughts of harming others as well as the back lash.

Don't mind my ramble... I just thought it might be nice to share my opinion.

I have never seen the 'totem' but I have felt the guidance of my power animal. I never thought that the 'mythological' animals could be guides though the more I looked around and asked, seems I was wrong.

If anyone can give me some better tips of journeying without the heartbeat effect I would be very grateful, or even a way to get past my fear of my own heart beat.

I hate those kind of people.


It took me two years of meditation to find my totem - a lynx. Every time I see her, the name "Mizu" pops into my head, so I'm guessing that's her name.

Also, after I begun to see Mizu, my native American uncle declared that the lynx I kept seeing was my Spirit Animal.

I love wolves, but I'm glad to have Mizu.
