worked on this for a couple days. redid the mane three times -_-
I was trying out a new technique, and didn't quite get it.
eh. this is for time's character "vito" on MUSTANG.

I mean, I struggle with the eyes but you did a marvelous job.
And perhaps (I noticed you mentioned hiding the mane of the stock horse) I would add another highlight layer across the shoulder of the horse. The mane looks lovely at the top but loses some of the depth across the shoulder. But I adore the forelock, mane (hair) in general ^^

across the top of the mane, but it for sure loses depth further down.

I lovelovelovelovelove this. It's very simplistic and crisp. You would think the hair would be windblown since the background is next to an ocean, but I like that it's so stilled. The horse seems almost paralyzed in that moment.
In short, great job, Wiki.
