I wanna do something like this with my photoshop elements 8 BUT....i have a question, when it comes to accidently going over say the black line for a piece of hair, do you redraw over or go around them?
agreed, grimmjow is THE best character - he's not dead i promise you he isnt, he has to come back and then he'll be drawn fantasically and shown better in the anime (i'll admit sometimes they made him look crap) but hes amazing!!!!

I use Photoshop Elements 2, so it's a bit out-dated compared to Photoshop CS's but it works. : P

Ah, I have photoshop 0.7 but I can't get it on my new computer so I am using 0.5. I can't figure it out. See, we downloaded it off the internet and can't transfer it to a different computer.

Ah, I got mine as a hammy-down from my grandpa (he's the computer wizard) and played with it enough that I just seft taught myself. : P
I don't use a whole lot of the 'tools' on PS, just use a brush with a low opacity and paint on like you would a traditional watercolor. It take's longer, but with only an optical mouse, it's pretty much my only option unless I want to sit for like, four hours working on perfect cell detail. No thank you!
The best thing I learned while CGing stuff is when I finally figured out that you make the lineart layer set on 'multiple' and add the color on layers below it. I used to cut out all the white area of the lineart then try and manually color it in - they didn't turn out too well. Lawls. : P
