Yes you are right of course - Mia could also be xena warrior princess...she is off to the states on Monday week...God but I am envious, though not of the cold weather she will cop!

Too true. I'm in Southern Ontario, Canada (a literal stone's throw from the US border), and it's -2 Celsius here right now. It's supposed to get to -10 by the middle of next week.

My next book is going to be set in Canada, probably in the past, (not sure exactly when yet) so I hope I can pick your brains about where you live; that is unless I find a way to make it over there! I would love to come in spring - is that when all your natural flora and fauna wake up again after the big freeze?

I'd be glad to help out! Down here, winter properly gives way to spring in April or so. Mind you, I'm about as far south as one can be in Canada. As one travels north, spring comes later; so it all depends on where you're planning to visit.

yes Mia can strike a pose! These were somehwat under sufferance as she apparently had dity hair! Primp primp! But it was fun anyway - you'd love our volcanic lakes...are you saving up for Oz yet?

Qow that is lots of bucks but our dollar is soaring so I guess that will make it a little harder..we may even go beyond the greenback soon..I hope so cos then I can buy good stuff from the US for so much less...I am looking forwards to your visit!
