I mainly make line art ASCII but the odd time I've coloured it I worked with HTML and a text editor. I'll take a look at PabloDraw again. Last time it didn't work for me, wouldn't open. I had't heard of TundraDraw.

I use PabloDraw to draw and color them, and then PabloView to save the .ans or .bin file to a .png file.

I prefer PabloDraw, but TundraDraw is also a popular choice for ansi artists.
