So, I finally finished this drawing! Woooo, studying and homework burns all the time I'd rather use for drawing. Or eating. I'm pretty good at functioning w/o sustenance nowadays.
Hmm. I'm hungry. And I wanna play tennis.

I tracked you down after seeing a tutorial of yours on YouTube (I'm just about to practice wit SAI after 2 years of Photoshop), and I'm truly blown away by your work. You look like you keep improving in leaps and bounds, and this work in particular is jaw-dropping to me. The lines are beautiful and smooth, the colors are very well chosen, the shadows/highlights are outstanding, and that background.... oh my god! I know every artist shines in their own styles, and I have no real qualms with my own, but oh man do I envy what you can do. Your attention to detail and care for the picture in it's entirety is something that I think will make you stand out even more as you develop your skills further. The tiny things, like putting your little logo on the wristband and tennis balls, is a wonderful touch in my opinion as well (personal watermark of sorts?).
Anyway, well done. Absolutely well done. You have yourself a new fan.
I have but one question... what resolution do you typically work with? I think "industry standard" is 300, but I'm curious if that sticks.
