OMG I cant believe I made these in 3 days.OK I have been collecting the feathers for about 4 months but thats not counted.
These lovely wing are for my Yosuzume (Night Sparrow) costume from Nurarihyon and bought wings just did not have the colour or form that hand made ones have.

I just found out I was basically a sparrow in spirit, so coming across these was a beautiful coincidence.

Most of the feathers come from our ducks that we had, they have been dyed and hot glued onto a frame.

Shame though! I hope they aren't in too much a state of disrepair, but there are definitely some gorgeous photos and they looked fantastic over the weekend anyway C:

did you wash the feathers after you found them?

Yep, in a mild dish-washing detergent.

yep good dish washing soap, use it on all the feathers I find. I use half the thing when I find cool feathers but I find most of them on dead ones ;~;
