Description        Everyone in the car except for Claude and Shinda felt sad that another person has been made victim by this criminal. The investigation they had a few minutes ago only confirmed that the killer is a boy who kills with a scythe. They don't know what he looks like, or where he lives. William who is back at the office is doing a search for any boys who live near the incident.
The whole group arrives at the crime scene and they left the car. This incident happened at another farm. Everything looks normal as they passed through the gate. Pete and Ricky went up to the front door, and Pete knocked. Five seconds after no sound from inside, he knocked again. No answer.
"Looks like nobody's home." He said.
Meanwhile, Bobby, Claude, and Shinda looked around the back of the house and saw something. Two dead bodies; a man and a woman. Both of the bodies are face up with similar wounds like the last time. Only this time, the bigger wound was on the front. They also noticed a faucet turned on over a bucket which was overfilling with water. Bobby turned off the faucet and ran around the back to call Pete and Ricky.
"Hey guys, there's something back here!" He yelled.
The three ran around the back to where the bodies are. They also noticed a man who was walking past the farm following them as he overheard of what was happening. The four went around the corner and see Claude and Shinda standing by the two bodies.
"What happened here?" The man asked.
"We are part of the detective service." Pete answered. "Two people died here and we are here to investigate. Have you heard about this?"
       "No I haven't."
       "I see..."
"Do you at least know the full names of the people who died here?" Asked Claude to the man.
"This family is famous for its tomato farms." The man said. "Of course I know it. The man's name is Steve Nixon while the woman's name is Tracey Nixon."
Shinda opens her Death Journal with pen in hand ready to write.
"Start with Tracey since the women are usually killed first." Said Ricky.
Shinda wrote down the name, and just like last time, there's a few seconds of silence. After that Shinda wrote like mad. Even the man was amazed at how fast she was writing. When she was done, she closed the Journal, and passed it to Pete. Pete took the notebook, opened it, and read what she just wrote.
"It was late at night. I was getting a pail of water for me to wash the chicks with. They got so muddy you can't see their yellow feathers anymore. I turned on the faucet with the pail ready and then I saw a shadow behind me. I turned around to see it was a boy with a scythe. I got scared. I couldn't see his face so I didn't know who it was. I can hear him crying. He said "I'm sorry mom." At that moment I knew who it was. And then, he used the scythe to make a hole on my chest. The blade poked through the other side of my body. I was scared. I screamed so my husband could hear me. Afterwards, I lost consciousness. Unable to move, unable to feel. I was as good as dead."
Pete again noticed the different handwriting styles Shinda wrote with between the name and the death. But the handwriting style when she wrote the death with was different than the style she wrote with last time. He closed the journal and gave it back to Shinda.
"Mom." Bobby thought. "I know who the killer is already." Bobby knew the answer, and so did everyone else. "Sir, this family had a son. What was his name?" He was asking the man.
       "Jacob." The man said.
Pete got a radio call from William. Pete answered it. "I'm here."
"I got a list of boys that are living within the area where the incident occurred." Said William.
"Is Jacob Nixon one of those boys in the list?"
"Let me see..." William searched through the list of over fifty boys. "Yes he is."
"He's the killer. I can't believe I'm actually believing in this Death Journalism stuff." He hung up on the radio then contacted the police department. After he got a response, he said to find Jacob Nixon and bring him to the detective service by the next day after they find him.
After contacting the police, Pete, Bobby and the rest of the team got in the car, and drove back to the detective office. After coming back to the office, everyone sat down on their chairs and Pete discussed matters with Claude concerning about taking Shinda as their own Death Journalist. Claude was sitting on a chair in front of Pete's desk with Shinda sitting on a chair beside Claude.
"I've got a few questions for you." Said Pete. "What's with the different handwriting styles whenever she writes the death?"
"So you've noticed." Claude replied. "When Death Journalists write the names of the deceased, they use their own handwriting style." He emphasized the word "their". "But what happens after she writes the name? Let me explain. The reason she has to pause in between writing the name and writing the death is because she needs time to call the spirit."
       "The spirit?"
"Yes. The spirit of the person who died. Basically by writing their name, they call the spirit to take over the Death Journalist's body. After that, the spirit writes the death on the journal using their handwriting style." He again emphasized the word "their". "When the spirit is done, it closes the Death Journal to cut the connection."
"Can anyone do this if they have their own Death Journal?" Asked Bobby.
"Yes, but it would take up a large amount of energy to just write the name. A person would need to be properly trained in order to do so. If a regular person were to do this, then the person would just lose consciousness for a few days, and they won't be able to write the death. But, if done multiple times, it will become a more serious issue; it could cause a death of a heart attack."
"If that's the case, then what about trained people like Shinda?"
"You're quite the curious one aren't you Bobby? She wouldn't lose consciousness, but she would need about five minutes for her heart rate to normalize before she can write another name." He then directed his attention back to Pete. "Now Pete, if you are going to take Shinda in, then you'll have to get her some clothes to wear."
       "Why?" Asked Pete.
"Because Shinda hasn't worn anything other than her school uniform, and her sleepwear since she was thirteen," Said Claude. "And we want the school uniforms returned when she gets comfortable with who she is working with."
"So you're gonna take her in?" Asked Ricky.
"I won't take her in until this case is solved." Said Pete. "And if all the stuff Shinda wrote is wrong, then you can forget about our deal."
"Fair enough." Said Claude. "Then I guess all we have to do is wait for the cops to bring Jacob Nixon here."
"Then I guess that's all for today." Said William.
"Yeah." Said Ricky as he stretched. "Man, I haven't had work like this for a while!"
"Then I'll see you guys tomorrow?" Asked Claude as he stood up from his chair.
       "I guess." Said Bobby.
"Alright, I'll be off then. If you need me, I'll be staying at the hotel two blocks away from here." Claude left the building with Shinda following behind him.
Everyone else packed up their things and left the office for home for the night. Everything was set, all they need to do is wait for the arrival of Jacob Nixon.

It has to be the work of someone higher that's making him do this... he obviously doesn't want to kill.... maybe its possession? Man, its way to easy... That kid is going to die soon because that can't be it. It can't end with Jacob.... Hey, what about the man? Maybe he had some information!! Why didn't they talk to the dead guy?

They probably didn't ask the guy because they feel like they have enough information. Jacob probably ran away from home also. And dead guy?

Well, even though they thought they had enough information, as detectives, they need to go on all the racecourses that they can find. What happens if the sprit of the man had vital information? Well, with Jacob, he looked like he loved his parents and regretted killing them, so he couldn't do it out of pure hatred from the line of "Im sorry, Mom".Even if he did run away, why would he run away? Rebellious teen? Then if he was, why did he return to murder his parents? That leads me even more to believe that Jacob was doing the work of somebody... Tell me Bug, does the Death journalists have any enemies? There has to be some type of group that thinks that the power that they possess must be greater then just to solve simple murders. What leads me to believe that is how (in the first story you wrote) the people from the police office had just informed him of a new case as soon as the Death Journalist walked into that establishment; for the way that the detectives were acting (I cant remember though maybe the things they said) made the audience believe that they hadn't had a case in a very long while.....Though, for that to happen.. There has to be someone from the inside to inform the head honchos about the arrivals of the Journalists.. Does one of the people, in the police force, a sort of a spy?

No, the Police force are not aware of the arrival of the Death Journalists, and yes, Death Journalists have more powers than just simply writing names, and yes they have some kind of enemy. But I won't go too much into details right now as some of it is still in the development process.
