Yes, he said grass colored, meaning red-yellowish in real but horses do not see red. This color looks the same to them as a color of a grass.

Waaaaait i have a theory. So like, when Karza took Siatra, what if Siatra didn't die. I know this isn't logical with realism but, Dalteri made eye contact with the offspring smilodon, what if the offapring felt bad and released Siatra yet she couldnt make it to the herd... They don't see red colors? What colors do they see?

Both red and green is yellowish-olive to them. This is why they cannot see a red tiger in a green foliage. Both they see as the same color. However they see yellow much better than we do. Then they also can see blue.

green and blue, the cooler side of yellow and brown and grays likely. Red colors are all interpreted as green, it's why some predators are orange in color, it makes them look nearly invisible in foliage because it's all just intermingling shadows and green.
