It has been a while I was not drawing hardivaars in fullΒ digitalΒ pictures. ...Last time it happend... umm... never?So here it is.
Utukdo -that lying grownup brown male hardivaar- is ussually killing time by watching over hardivaar foals of mares around. Other hardivaars are more interested of having their own. But Utukdo is happy like this so far.
Utukdo is in Feo herd recognised easily. His typical feature or speciality is... that he is not special at all. He has just brown mane and coat with no marks. Oh but he wears some pendant on his neck.
They all are on famous meadow called Echrid's Meadow or Meadow of Echrid... in Czech "Echridova louka".
The background... the background was hell! How I hate drawing background
but I was trying to figure out how to draw it faster and I think I succeeded as the picture took me about two or three days (but counting only free time).

These creatures look so majestic and the foals are so adorable and look so playful~ 
The Background is wonderful, I know how it feel's when the background is difficult is do but it look's so wonderful, The Meadow reminds me a of beautiful alley I saw in a game once, it look's just as lovely as this. I can match the music with it well with this.Β
I know I say this a lot but it's true, it's truly beautiful work as it always is.Β

Oh does it? I am glad you like it. It was difficult to draw but I was in good mood during drawing it so it was not psychical problem as I thought it will be.

Yes it does and that's good, drawing in a bad mood doesn't tie you that motivation for detail. >-< I know that feeling but luckily it's not going to be too often as of now.Β

Thank you so much ^^ I didn't draw them digitaly much so sometimes I am missing drawing them so I did a few pictures. I wanted to draw all characters and creatures from the world but I ended after first three because I needed to rest and didn't have time for that. So I am happy I had mood for another one. ^^ I am preparing another situation pic of them in winter. It has almost finished flat colouring so far. Cannot wait to work on it ^^

Well I think you did a fantastic job of the background!, all that texture and details I love it!.
The characters themselves look so expressive and energetic! I love the bouncy, playful feeling I get looking at them. And the adult looks so nice and relaxed, maybe he secretly wants to play with them too! XD.

I enjoy drawing the characters very much, they are my beloved creatures I made up eight years ago. But foals like this I was drawing for first time so I am glad they looks good ^^
Hehe Utukdo would play with them but now he is just laying and warming self up by sun shine ^^ hardivaars loves warming up by lying under sun.

Oooh you have had them for so long!, I bet they have gone on a long journey of development. I love their design, they are so unique and enjoyable to look at 
I also admire your ability to come up with decent race names, I have my own two races but I can't come up with a good sounding name for them : (.

Thank you ^^At first they just appeared in my mind as a picture. Then I drew it. Then I was drawing it over and over. It was the first and only being I am applying whole anatomy after studying it. This beings took me to study horses because they has similar body. And thanks to the study how body works and how I want them "work" they were changing. So hardivaars are beings made of one big crazy Bughs anatomy studying
But... hardivaar... this is horrible name for them. In Czech "HardivΓ‘r". I don't like names with these punctuation but my mind wanted them to have this name. And then there was the idea they were named after what sounds they were producing like "Harrr!" "Dik-Dik!" "Warrrgh!" I was thinking many times I will rename them. ...I never did
But I am glad they sounds good to you. I am trying to imagine how this word sounds in English

I love it when things work out like that, plan to change something but decide you like it enough to keep and it ends up staying.
