You see the sign for "The Lantern" and step inside, immediately you realize that this is a place that you'd probably need money to get food from... and of course, you have no money. You sit down anyways; the kid said you could get information here and you'd instead not look lost and confused. (even if you are) Aside from that, the place gives you a warm, welcoming feeling with murmurs between patrons catching up on events with each-other, and whispers of gossip regarding the relationships between townsfolk. You take a seat at the bar and take in the almost peaceful vibe of the place.
The barkeep walks over to you with a welcoming smile,"Hello, my name is Trinket- welcome to The Lantern! How may I help you tonight?"
You try to give an equally warm smile, but it turns out more awkward and nervous than intended."Well, it seems I have gotten myself pretty turned around, and I don't seem to know anything about where I am at the moment- I was told I would be able to get information here?... like, about the area?"
She wraps a rag around her paw as she begins to clean out a glass and seems thoughtful for a moment,"Hmm, that seems like quite the dilemma... I'd be happy to help get you all caught up!",Trinket begins to fill you in on the Village of Kitter Keep and it's overall community, she recommends to you that you go around and explore the area for yourself tomorrow to get to know the village for yourself. When they finish talking, you thank her for informing you, and sit there for a while longer, listening to the hum of the tavern until you eventually fall asleep where you are.
