Description What I have so far.

I LOVE how Chance is coming out...Miri's cute and I adore CJ (CJ belongs to )...

However, I need some help from you guys...

What should I do with the background? I KNOW I want a "pumpkin patch" gig going on (in fact it MUST be a pumpkin patch)...

but what else should I have in it? Scarecrows? Bails of hay? Other families picking out their pumpkins?

Or, do you know where I can find pics of pumpkin patches online to glean ideas from?

Well, what to say - do not want to write an essays since I'm waiting for the finished version, but any ways, I can still let you know what a wonderful picture this is, really, the pose, the expressions, them... everything - really looking forward to see the finished result.. So, cheers to that!

Ooooo I think that u shud put a couple of other families behind so it'll feel even more like a family thing
Oooo and maybe it cud be evening w/teh sun setting and a lil scarecrow w/a crow on it too
But, only if u think it's a good idea

Wowzors. I gotta do a Halloween pic sumtime. I prolly would do a pumpkin patch, a scarecrow on the horizon, and a few birds around and about. Other people wouldn't hurt either. Nice job, can't wait to see the final!

I know! I love halloween and I have a TMNT one coming up after this one!

I definately like the idea of a scarecrow and perhaps the birds too!

Cute little animals are something fun to throw in. Maybe chicks? Don't think they reside in pumpkin farms but hey whatever I love fall too. So crisp and breezy

LOL! Maybe chickens? Or a goat? Goats are on farms...though, I'm not sure about pumpkin patches...I think some have petting zoos...maybe.

I love fall! It's my favorite time of year! So pretty...so cool and breezy! And the cool weather is nice and easy on my allergies!

I'm rubbish at backgrounds too! That's why I'm so glad that there are talented DA artists who make PS brushes in order to help out folks like myself!

Thanks so much sweetie. I hope it will turn out okay. I've been reading through quite a few tutorials on cell-shading and I've downloaded a few great PS brushes sooooo while it will be the first attempt at a wallpaper, I'm HOPING that it will turn out okay.

Hmm...Think about the theme of what you want the wall to present it self and when walking they could walking on Grass or a path to walk on both easy to add effects to and some trees. Next the time of day it is to me looks like evening time and I said before orange and yellow and a setting sun in the background to add a sense of depth to it.

Like this one I got for example I wanted to make a night time scene here mind you this is a WIP but this is how the element I told you about are used in effect.

Well they're definitely gonna be walking on a dirt/hay trail...maybe lined with some bails of hay OR a rickety old fence...

But do you think I should add other families? OR do you think that will take away from the three of them?

Good question

My View: For depth purpose yes however as you can see you want the furlongs to be the main focus but you can add secondary characters to make it live so basically no it won't take it away but only if used effectively.

Yes those would be good for the path their.

gotcha!!! I'll doodle a few families, but not A LOT. I'll put them in the far background, that way, it won't look "busy' By the Furlongs and keep them in the main focus. ^^ You're soooooo smart!
