As the populate is virtually immortal, an individual's life is resumed by their achievements rather than the time spent living, once an adequate life is considered to having been had, one should terminate it, in a manner of speaking, to join the halls of the dead with loved ones, to rest, for a time, able to return to the world of the living at a whim.

After all, there can be no life without death, to refuse to embrace death, is to condemn all things that might one day emerge from one's remains, death must be as cherished as life.
