Description Pencil sketch, about 13 inches across by 8 inches high, first sketch of house design 325 which has all floor plans and elevations designed, as well as interior cross sections and heavy timber frame roof structure. Arranged on a narrow town lot with garage and shop to the rear and a U-shaped courtyard in the center. Influenced by English vernacular and other European types, esp German roof lines. Exterior treatment includes two-tone stucco (creamy white and dark tan) as well as brick foundation and details. Work in progress. Complete plan submitted as another file. Enjoy!

Yes, a sketch has the ability to make what is important look literal and specific and what is background look ethereal or suggested, keeping your eye on the prize. Always tricky to stop a sketch at that special moment. This one will get a bit more work, but not MUCH more I think...
