Funny how I grew attached to those two when we get to spend so little time with them. The beginning of this game was really hard. The prince charming had to die too, bummer :-/

Yeah, that original Dalish armor was a bit.. bikini-y. XD Thankfully they've fixed that for the later games.

By prince charming I mean the king, Cailan. That's the first impression I got of him, what with the shiny armor and super friendly attitude. I always imagine my dalish blushed profusely when they met XD

XD I admit when I had the orignal Dalish armor it was a feeling of 'wow, whoever behind me must have a nice view' and 'I think my elf might be feeling a bit cold...'

They must do XD I thought games had moved beyond 'Bikini armour' but clearly not, it's like the Chasind style robes you find as well for mages, one look at those and my first thought it 'there's no way on earth you could fight, let alone move in those'

I doubt we'll ever be rid of 'bikini armor'. XD I've just accepted that video games are like a fashion runway; there will be loads of stuff created because it looks cool/beautiful and not because it's practical.

Yeah true. I admit most newer games do pretty well. It does make me laugh though in some games you put a piece of armour on a male character and it looks 'normal' then you put it on a female character and it suddenley shrinks.

Ever put the Templar armor on an elf in Origins? I tried it on my Mahariel and died laughing at how silly her small head looked in this huge armor. XD

Yes, the dalish armor always seemed badly planned. Mostly because it wasn't even pretty (since the graphics of DAO aren't meant to be pretty) so it just failed all around. Bare midriff, low cut top, no sleeves, and a skirt.
Jory, good grief. I tell him off every time I get to. Daveth was funny (though I didn't care either way when he died). Jory made me want to slap him. Just, all he did was whine! At least Jowan, the other big whiner, was sort of endearing just because you had to pity the walking failure.

Hahahahaha! I always wondered about the bare midriff for the Dalish women. Is there some elven magic that keeps that part of their body protected while they fight? All the other armor is so practical, this one kind of threw me for a loop.
I think I liked Jowan because he did try to make up for his shortcomings. Jory, not so much.

Jowan just couldn't do anything right. If something could go wrong in a situation he was a main player in, it did. The Circle was probably lucky he was gone when Uldred unleashed hell on the place.
A lot of the early armor I don't like. For one, half the time it's pink (which I don't get either) or it looks sorta horrible. Most of the leather armor does anyway. The scale and chain mail usually looks alright though. But the leather (I think it's leather) has such a low cut top on the ladies, it still looks impractical.

Jumping on the Daveth bandwagon here.. And I REALLY Don't miss Jory at all. If I have to hear him whine on one more playthrough about how we should turn back just because some soldiers got killed by darkspawn, I'll scream
