The Acolyte

THE spell-caster of the bunch, and will eventually become a powerful one (not really a spoiler, no? it's usually the case with these mage-types, assuming they survive through the lower levels lah). Focuses on Arcane magic, of course, but might dabble with Divine magic... hmm... maybe not.

From his garb, you might be able to tell that he's from the same place as the Guardian. While the Guardian is from the Warrior Caste (a lower caste that serves to protect the higher castes), the Acolyte is from the Mage/Spell-caster class of his people. Young, ambitious, incredibly intelligent but somewhat naive, he's from 'high society', if you will. The son of a Grandmage, he might seem a bit snooty sometimes - much like the elvenkin of the same class, in other fantasy universes. The Purple-lined robes signifies the social class he belongs to.

In RPG terms, he's essentially a wizard: very high intel, but rather low in everything else. His spells are mostly the elemental, area-damage type, so that makes him quite the offensive-spell caster.

Couldn't find the original pencil sketch for him though.
