That's something... it's hard not to marvel at this. The main guy is stunning in this drawing; it's even possible to remind how he used to play.
Just wondering, do you remind which technic you used for him? Looks like dots... but it's a scanned picture. Would you share this with us, please?

thanks...you are correct - the shading was done with dots (stippling) using the 0.1 and 0.2 pen

That must have took a long time... one of my friend did an amazing work on a plastic sheet - like a bag. It was some 1mx1,5m. It took him 45 hours to draw one third of the picture with dots.
How long did you work on this one, just like that?

Your recreation of this classic scene is pretty good, but (this is my opinion) the work is over-developed. Your contrasts between light and dark is good but sometimes too much rendering and too much detail tends to over-develope the image and make it appear too busy. As I try to look at the work as a whole my eye is drwan away from the whole and is forced, not allowed but forced to examine the details though out the body and that tends to depriciate the images overall effect. Now some might see this as bashing a good piece of work, but I see it as constructive critisim that may be helpful in future works, so on a final note you have good composition, and your contrasts between shades are good and your techinique is good, but the work has too much detail.
